The FMI is a world-class research organization located in the center of Europe. We have a postdoctoral position available immediately to explore signaling pathways in various tumor models. The position is funded by Oncosuisse. We apply gene-targeting and biochemical techniques to examine the role of putative oncogenes involved in cell differentiation and cell growth regulation within the PKB/AKT/mTOR pathway. We use all available cutting edge technology to explore signaling defects in cancer cells. Candidates with expertise in mouse genetics, cancer cell biology, biochemistry and signaling pathways are especially encouraged to apply.
