Description

Immediate opening for a postdoctoral position in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department at Johns Hopkins University. The postdoctoral fellow will lead the experimental effort in a collaborative project aimed at designing new methods for the manipulation, separation and analysis of suspended nanoparticles and biomolecules.

We are looking for a motivated and creative researcher with laboratory experience in some of the following relevant fields: surface chemistry, microfluidics, soft lithography, nanomaterials synthesis, and particle tracking. Researchers with a strong interest in the fundamentals of fluid mechanics and interfacial phenomena are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualified candidates are expected to conduct independent research as well as to work together with researchers pursuing the numerical and theoretical aspects of the project.
