Description
Working in the Cell Cycle Control Team under the leadership of Dr Michelle Garrett, and based in the Cancer Research UK Centre for Cancer Therapeutics, you will carry out research on cell cycle checkpoints and develop and implement mechanism-based cellular assays for the discovery and development of drugs that target cell cycle checkpoints for the treatment of cancer. The Centre offers a multi-disciplinary working environment, and the post presents opportunity for collaboration within the Centre.
You will have a PhD in cell and molecular biology or biochemistry or in a related discipline, (eg microbiology or genetics). Appointment will be on a Fixed Term Contract for 3 years in the first instance, with starting salary up to £31,551 pa inclusive.
