Description

A Postdoctoral position is available in a Cardiac Development Laboratory in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology, The Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami.

The lab focuses on the molecular and cellular mechanisms of heart development and adult disease using in vitro and in vivo model systems. A major focus of the lab is identifying signaling pathways important for cell lineage specficiation and extracellualr matrix organization during heart valve formation, as well as understanding the genetic regulation of adult valve maintenance.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D/MD with good English communication skills. Experience in cardiac/developmental/molecular biology is preferred, but not essential.
