POSTDOCTORAL POSITION on Computational Biology

available immediately at the Department of Biological Sciences, University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) to develop computational approaches for protein domain recognition and understanding the molecular mechanisms involved in disease. The candidate will work with a collaborative team from UMBC and FDA and will have affiliations in both institutions.

REQUIREMENTS

A recent Ph.D. in computational biology, chemistry, biology, physics, computer science or related fields is required. Applicants should have excellent oral and written communication skills, and display initiative as well as independence

International candidates will be considered. The position is available immediately and for a period of one year, with possibility to renew subject to satisfactory performance. The position will be administered through the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education.
