Description
Postdoctoral positions are available to study dopamine-glutamate anddopamine-GABA interactions at the molecular, synaptic, and circuitlevels. Potential projects may include molecular cloning andcharacterization of novel synaptic genes, electrophysiological studiesof synaptic transmission and plasticity in mouse brain slices,identification of disease vulnerability genes in non-human primatemodels of addiction and neurodegeneration, and RNAi-based gene silencingin the monkey brain. Candidates with experience inpatch-clamp/intracellular recordings and/or molecularbiology/biochemistry are encouraged to apply.
