One postdoctoral position is available starting fall/winter 2012 in the laboratory of Dr. Jonghwan Kim in the Section of Molecular Cell & Developmental Biology/Institute for Cellular & Molecular Biology at the University of Texas at Austin.
The position will focus on understanding of regulatory networks controlling stemness of ES cells and iPS cells. We use a broad panel of techniques including molecular biology, and high-throughput genomics approaches. Candidate should have a PhD or equivalent degree in molecular biology, developmental biology or related discipline. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with relevant experience in stem cell biology, and genomics. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. The position will be funded by a NIH grant from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS ) or a CPIRT grant (Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas, www.cprit.state.tx.us). Salary will commensurate with experience and will adhere to current NIH guidelines.
