Herchel Smith Postdoctoral Research Fellowships (Nine posts)
The Schools of the Biological and Physical Sciences
£25,134 – £32,796 pa
Limit of tenure: 2 – 3 years
The Managers of the Herchel Smith Postdoctoral Research Fellowships Fundinvite applications for the above post.
These Fellowships provide an opportunity for independent research,although the holders will usually work in close collaboration withestablished research groups. Fellowships are available in the followingfields: Pure Mathematics (two posts); Applied Mathematics andTheoretical Physics, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical MaterialsChemistry; Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (three posts) andAntibiotic Biosynthesis (biochemistry).

Applications are invited from candidates who have completed their Ph.D.Degree, or equivalent, within the last three years at any university butnormally excluding Cambridge and Harvard.
