Description
We are looking for post-doctoral candidates to join the team led by Dr.Edgar Gomes in the University Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI), inParis, France. This research group is part of the recently created U787- Groupe Myologie, supported by INSERM and AFM (Association Francaisecontre les Myopathies).
We are studying the mechanisms of nuclear positioning during cellmigration and myofiber differentiation. We are interested inunderstanding how the actin and the microtubule cytoskeletons areregulated during nuclear position events.
We are seeking highly motivated candidates with a PhD in bioinformaticsor physics, with a background in cell and molecular biology who wish tojoin a dynamic and international team.
Experience in image analysis and management of large data sets isdesired, but not required. Candidates with PhD in cell and molecularbiology with a bioinformatics and physics background should also apply.
