Description
The lab is focused on the immune and inflammatory aspects of vasculardiseases such as atherosclerosis using many in vivo models as well ascell culture system. The cell types under investigation are macrophages,T cells, smooth muscle cells and endothelial cells. The main interest ofthe lab is mediators of vascular diseases including but not limited tocytokines, chemokines and factors involved in adhesion and migration of cells.
The ideal candidate would have MD and/or PhD with 0-2 years experienceand a strong background in mouse models as well as cell and molecularbiology. Knowledge of immunology and/or vascular biology would be desirable.
