Description
We are seeking to appoint a research associate to investigate howJmjC-domain containing histone demethylase enzymes regulate chromatinfunction and transcription.You should possess a PhD or equivalent and beable to demonstrate a keen interest in chromatin biology. You should bea well trained and motivated scientist with a strong background inbiochemistry and molecular biology. In particular, expertise workingwith mammalian tissue culture systems, chromatin-immunoprecipitation,and RNAi would be advantageous. The project may also involve microarrayand large scale sequencing approaches so you would benefit frombioinformatic skills that could be applied to these aspects of thestudy.
