The Dept. of Experimental Mouse Genetics has an opening for a
Postdoctoral position
Project
The aim of the project will be to study the genetic susceptibility ofthe host to an infection with influenza A virus substrains. As a modelsystem, we will use different mouse inbred, recombinant inbred, congenicand mutant strains. The pathology, immune response and genetic factorsof host susceptibility will be analyzed.
Requirements
Candidates that hold the equivalent of a PhD in Biology, Biochemistry,or Life Sciences are welcome to apply. Previous experience with animalwork, influenza or mouse genetics will be considered as an important asset.
Starting date: as soon as possible initial contract for 2 years, withthe possibility for extension for a third year
Salary: E13/Zulage E14
