英国斯特莱斯克莱德大学物理化学研究助理岗位

The Department of Chemical and Process Engineering invites applications for this postdoctoral position in Molecular Simulation for Carbon Capture Processes for a period of 3 years. Funded by the EPSRC, this collaboration between the Universities of Strathclyde and Edinburgh involves investigation of a novel carbon capture concept, and specifically a fundamental study of the reaction equilibria of carbon dioxide with amines in porous media. The research associate will work as part of a team and perform reaction ensemble Monte-Carlo simulations to help guide experimental colleagues.

Applicants for this position must have a PhD/equivalent qualification in an appropriate discipline such as physical chemistry/chemical physics or mathematics and will have experience of conducting research in molecular simulation or liquid state theory. Applicants with a 2:1 honours minimum first degree and equivalent professional achievement in a relevant industry environment will also be considered.  The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate effective contribution to the delivery of research projects and will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
