Description
The Department of Tumor Progression and Immune Defense searches for aPostdoc on a Project within the SPP 1190 “Crosstalk between tumor cellsand endothelial cells via the tetraspanin D6.1A”. The project isconcerned about “tumor stem cell” markers and their functional activityin colorectal and pancreatic cancer.
The candidate should have a degree in biology or biochemistry and shouldbe experienced and particularly interested in membrane dynamics andprotein-protein interactions and the cross-talk between cancer stemcells and the cancer stem cell niche.
The position is presently limited until 31.12.2009 with the option ofprolongation. Please provide curriculum, certificates, a statement onresearch interest and 2 letters of reference.
