A postdoctoral fellowship is available at the University of Arizona towork on mechanisms of regulation of myosin II phosphatase (MP). Researchfocuses on interactions and effects of phosphorylation of the majorregulatory subunit of MP.
Applicants should have a background in Biochemistry and /or MolecularBiology and be familiar with basic principles and techniques of proteinchemistry / molecular biology. Experience with kinases / phosphataseswould be an asset. Position is funded by NIH and salary is commensuratewith NIH guidelines.
