The Laboratory of Cell and Developmental Biology at the National Centerfor Biotechnology would like to incorporate a talented researcher withinthe Ramon y Cajal Program. Please consult the web page(http://www.mec.es/ciencia/cajal) for details of the program beforesending any application. The 2008 call is going to be published in a few days.
The successful candidate will join the group of Dr. José Luis de laPompa and will focus on the study of Notch signaling in cardiacdevelopment and adult heart homeostasis. The experimental systems aremouse and zebrafish.
The possibility of independent research will be considered after one ortwo years.
