This position is eligible for a $500 Employee Referral Bonus consistentwith the University policy.
A Postdoctoral position is available in a cardiac development laboratoryin the Department of Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology, The MillerSchool of Medicine at the University of Miami, Florida. Our lab focuseson the molecular and cellular mechanisms of heart development and adultdisease using in vitro and in vivo assays. Research activities in ourlab include PCR, gene cloning, immunohistochemistry, in situhybridization, tissue culture (transfections, primary cell culture),coimmunoprecipitation, and the use of animal model systems for in vivo studies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D in Biology plus one year ofexperience. Successful candidates will be strongly encouraged to writescientific papers for publication as well as grant for fellowshipawards. Must have good English communication skills. An appropriatecombination of education, certifications, and/or relevant workexperience will be considered.
