Post Doctoral Fellow (28UC3546) & (28UC3545)
Obesity Research Center at the University of Cincinnati has twopostdoctoral positions available in the laboratory of Silvana Obici, MD.These positions will study the CNS action of nutrients, leptin andinsulin on peripheral metabolism. The focus of this research group isthe role of the brain in the systemic regulation of insulin secretionand/or action. Current studies are directed at neuroendocrineinteractions and coordinate regulation of systems contributing topostprandial glucose metabolism.
Min. Quals.: Qualified individuals should have a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD andsignificant prior research experience.
