Description
Postdoctoral Research opportunity in Department of Medicine at UAB toparticipate in NIH funded projects related to the role of reactiveoxygen species in inflammation, particularly neutrophil activation andacute lung injury. The candidate (PhD or MD), should be familiar withcell culture procedures, mouse handling, standard molecular biology andbiochemistry techniques. Experience in ubiquitin/proteasome dependentregulation of the NF-kB signaling cascade would be an advantage. Abilityto work independently in a multidisciplinary environment as well as ateam member is essential. Excellent verbal and written communicationskills are required.
