Description
I am seeking applications for a postdoctoral position in my lab.Candidates may cover one or more of the following areas: algorithms,phylogenetics, systems biology, and genomics. Current projects include:
1. Bioinformatics and genomics for cancer, aging, andneurodegenerative diseases;
2. Statistical analysis of microarray experiments, diseasebiomarkers, and genome-wide association studies;
3. Developing novel algorithms for computational problems motivatedby phylogenetics, genomics, and biomedical research.
The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in computer science,statistics, bioinformatics, or related quantitative fields, or at leasttwo years of programming experience in any bioinformatics-related areas.
