2 postdoctoral research fellow positions are immediately available inthe project group “Retrovirus induced immunosuppression” at Robert KochInstitute, Berlin.
Candidate should be highly motivated with experience in molecular andcell biology as well as in virology. The laboratory focus is primarilyon inducing neutralising antibodies specific for the transmembraneenvelope protein gp41 of HIV-1. The laboratory utilizes a multitude ofmolecular biology and immunological techniques. Studies conductedinclude immunisation with recombinant proteins or peptides,neutralisation assays to detect neutralising antibodies,characterisation of the antibodies including epitope mapping. Minimumrequirements for this position are a Ph.D, previous research experiencewith publications, and familiarity with molecular biology techniques.
