Description
We are looking for experienced cell/molecular biologists to join ourteam investigating novel signalling mechanisms combining cell signalingstudies and genetic approaches in mice. We currently have openings forpostdoctoral positions in the following project:
Role of the ALK7 receptor in metabolic regulation, involving thedevelopment of conditional genetic approaches in mutant mice and studiesof novel TGF-beta signaling pathways in pancreatic beta-cells and andadipocytes. Experience in molecular biology, intracellular signallingand mouse genetics will be important for consideration.
The laboratory is located amid other 10 high-profile groups of theCenter of Excellence in Developmental Biology (www.dbrm.se) atKarolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden, one of the most vibrantand productive research environments in Scandinavia.
Funding is available for an initial period of 2 years, starting any timeduring 2008. Applications, including CV, list of publications andletters by at least two referees, should be sent to Prof. Carlos Ibáñezby email.
