Description
Postdoctoral positions are immediately available in the Mechanical,Aerospace and Biomedical Engineering Department at the University ofTennessee, Knoxville. These positions are jointly sponsored by Dr.Xiaopeng Zhao (http://web.utk.edu/~xzhao9/) and Dr. Mingjun Zhang(http://web.utk.edu/mjzhang/index.html). Successful candidates areexpected to work in the following areas:
* Lab-on-a-chip technology.
* Dynamics modeling of stem cells differentiation.
* Surgical robotics.
* Modeling and control of sub-cellular dynamics.
* AFM/confocal microscopy study of cellular dynamics.
Applicants must have completed a PhD in mathematics, physics, lifesciences, control theory, or computational mechanics. Experiences ondynamics modeling, nonlinear dynamics, control, or experimental studyusing AFM are preferred.
