Postdoctoral positions are now available at Yale University School ofMedicine. The research focus will relate to studies of the molecularmechanisms of genome maintenance and cancer prevention by the human RecQfamily proteins. The projects will center on (1) identifying RecQprotein complexes from mammalian cell extracts, (2) characterizing invitro biochemical properties of the RecQ protein complexes, (3)understanding in vivo cellular roles of the RecQ complexes, and (4) howthe RecQ protein complexes are regulated in response to DNA damage andcell-cycle.
