A postdoctoral position is available at the Brussels Center for Redox Biology from October 2009. The application will be send to Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO) in January 2009.
Profile
The postdoctoral fellow is expected to have strong work ethic, excellent organizational and communication skills, and critical thinking abilities. Candidates must have an excellent publication record and must have received their PhD within the period between 2005 and June 2009. We offer a fellowship for three years (from October 2009 which might be 2 times renewable) in a stimulating multidisciplinary environment.
Job environment
The successful candidate will carry his/her own research in the Brussels Center for Redox Biology. This center results from collaboration between the groups of J. Messens at the Flanders Institute for Biotechnology (VIB, Vrije Universiteit Brussel) and of J.F. Collet at the de Duve Institute (UCL). Both labs are located 10 minutes apart from each other in Brussels (http://redox.vub.ac.be)
