POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER
Comparative Biomedical Sciences
A Postdoctoral Researcher position is available immediately in the labof Dr. Yoshimura in the Department of Comparative Biomedical Sciences toconduct projects funded by an NIH grant. This position offers fullbenefits and a competitive salary based on experience. The interest ofthe lab is the regulation of cyclic AMP signaling with particularattention to mammalian membrane-bound adenylyl cyclase. We are lookingfor talented and highly motivated employees who aim to becomeindependent researchers. Required Qualifications: Doctorate degree; astrong background in one of the following disciplines: biochemistry,cellular biology, molecular biology, neuroscience, or pharmacology;familiarity with nucleic acid manipulation, tissue culture, and basicbiochemical techniques or related field. Additional QualificationsDesired: Familiarity with fluorescence microscope; good communicationand organizational skills; good English writing and speaking skills. Anoffer of employment is contingent on a satisfactory pre-employmentbackground check. Application deadline is September 1, 2008 or until acandidate is selected.
