Description
We invite highly motivated candidates to apply and enforce our young,dynamic and interdisciplinary team of researchers aiming to understandthe basic principles of protein biogenesis, protein folding andmisfolding in the cell and the role of molecular chaperones controllingthese processes.
The person appointed will combine genetic analysis of mutant cells invivo with kinetic and mechanistic analyses of translation and foldingprocesses in vitro using a large variety of innovative state-of-the artbiochemical and biophysical methodologies.
Our laboratory is located at the University of Konstanz which has beenawarded the status of a “University of Excellence” by the GermanExcellence Initiative. It is a true campus university located next tothe beautiful Lake of Constance and close to Zürich and the Alps.
