Columbia University Medical Center, Department ofPediatrics/Neonatology, New York, NY is seeking a post-doctoral research fellow.
-Research position available in the Dept. of Pediatrics at ColumbiaUniversity Medical Center to study cell adhesion molecules involved in thrombosis.
-Applicant will work with Dr. Thomas Diacovo, Director of Neonatal andCritical Care Research.
-Emphasis will be placed on the development of small molecules andpeptides that alter platelet-platelet and platelet-vessel wall interactions.
-High throughput screens and in vitro and in vivo thrombosis models willbe used to identify candidate molecules.
-Candidate must have a Ph.D., a strong background in protein chemistry,and experience in molecular biology, tissue culture, and protein purification.
