The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Virginia Commonwealth University has two postdoctoral research associate positions immediately available.
Applicants must have an MD, PhD or equivalent degree and proven skills and experience in cardiovascular research, in particular, with expertise in gene cloning and expression, stem cells technology, in vivo or in vitro molecular imaging, or electrophysiology. The major focus of our research projects is on the transmembrane signaling and lipid rafts, lysosome trafficking and membrane repair, and lysosomalTRP-ML1 channels in vascular endothelial cells or and smooth muscle cells.
