For the Postdoc position, we are seeking highly motivated and talented scientists to work on stem cell gene regulation using genome-wide methods for transcriptome and epigenetic analyses.

The strength of our laboratory lies in combining emerging technologies (such as next-generation sequencing and single-cell techniques), stem cell and molecular biology with cutting-edge computational expertise.

The lab has a Illumina GAIIx sequencer that are used to generate RNA-Seq and ChIP-Seq from in vivo preimplantation embryos and in vitro model systems.

The lab is well funded with ERC Starting Grant and grants from Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research, Research Council and Åke Wibergs Foundation.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic, international and young team of stem cell biologists and computational biologists. Our group is also affiliated with a Center of Excellence in Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine (www.dbrm.se) and is part of an excellent scientific environment.

Applicants must hold a PhD or medical degree in biology, computational biology, molecular biology or similar.

Positions are initially limited to 2 years. The positions are open from February 2010.
