Description:

National University of Singapore (NUS) invites outstanding young researchers with a Ph.D Degree in science or technology to apply for the prestigious TRF awards.

The TRF scheme provides selected young researchers an opportunity to conduct and lead research that is relevant to defence. It offers:

- 3-year research grant, with an option to extend up to a further 3 years,

- possible tenure-track academic appointment with NUS at the end of the TRF,

- attractive and competitive remuneration.

Fellows may lead and conduct research, and publish in these areas:

1. Biomimicry
2. Cognitive Sciences
3. Cyber Security
4. Computational Photography
5. Microsystem Technologies

Other fundamental areas of science or technology, where a breakthrough would be of interest to defence and security, will also be considered.
