Job Description:

Two NIH postdoctoral positions are available immediately to:
1: Mitochondria-to-Nucleus Communication in Breast Cancer: Investigate the role of mitochondrial impairment on nuclear genome instability and breast tumorigenesis. Excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in mammalian cell culture, histochemical analysis, in situ hybridization, DNA transfection, Northern, Southern, PCR, and general molecular biology techniques.

2. Mitochondria-to-Nucleus Communication in Yeast Model System: Investigate the impact of mitochondrial defect on nuclear genome instability in yeast model system. Excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae genetics, DNA transformation, PCR, Northern, Southern, and general molecular biology techniques.
