Job Description:
 
We invite applications for a postdoctoral position in the Diabetes Center at the University of California, San Francisco. The major research focus of our laboratory is to study hypothalamic regulation of body weight and glucose homeostasis with the goal to understand the etiology of obesity and type 2 diabetes. We are a dynamic young lab with lots of energy and many exciting projects. The Diabetes Center at UCSF offers state-of-the-art research facilities and congenial and collaborative working environment. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a passion for science, innovative thinking and the ability to work independently and efficiently. Excellent communication skill is required and strong backgrounds in mouse genetics, physiology or molecular biology are highly desirable.
