Job Description:
Our laboratory studies multiple aspects of the stem cell biology,employing techniques in genetics, genomics, molecular biology, cellbiology, and biochemistry. We are currently focusing on understandingpathways that regulate of normal neural stem cells during braindevelopment, and isolating and characterizing alternative stem cellsources for cell-based therapies for neurodevelopmental disorders. Inaddition, we study cancer stem cells from the nervous system and breast,using genetically defined mouse models.

The Jackson Laboratory offers a strong postdoctraining program with ample opportunities for both formal and informaltraining in mouse genetics. Candidates with previous experience inneuroscience and cancer research are desired. Passion for science,strong work ethics, and excellent interpersonal skills are required.Training fellowships are available for US citizens/green-card holders.
