Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in the Laboratory of Cell Biology, National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. We are presently addressing how defects in intracellular traffic lead to human diseases. The projects in the laboratory include the characterization of the mucolipin family as well as the study of the mechanisms that regulate internalization and delivery of growth factor receptors to lysosomes. Candidates must have
——a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree with less than four years of postdoctoral experience,
——a strong interest in interdisciplinary approaches and collaborations, and publications in peer review journals.
——Experience in cellular or molecular biology and/or live cell imaging is preferred.
