Description

The lab focuses on the immunobiology of dendritic cells with an emphasison characterizing a newly identified dendritic cell population(interferon-producing killer dendritic cells – IKDC) and their roles inantiviral and antitumor immunity. Other studies include embryonic stemcells derived dendritic cells, humanized mouse models, etc. Theseprojects involve substantial interactions with the Institute ofPediatric Regenerative Medicine and the Stem Cell Program of UCDMC.
