Sabanci University is a new private university located in Istanbul,Turkey, an EU candidate country. The University offers an outstandingeducation and research environment with excellent internationallycompetitive facilities (www.sabanciuniv.edu).
Biological Sciences and Bioengineering Program invites applications forpost-doctoral positions in plant molecular biology and genetics. Thesuccessful candidates will work on an ambitious, internationallycompetitive and dynamic research project funded by the “European Union”.Ph.D degree in genetics and/or molecular biology is required. Previoushands on experience in genome analysis is a plus. Ability to workindependently, and strong interpersonal skills are expected.
Our lab is mainly focused on plant molecular biology and genetics. Weuse new and established model organisms, to have a better understandingof wheat genetics and genomics, protein structure and evolution.Successful candidate will apply state-of-the-art methods of plant genomeanalyses and genetics to identify and characterize novel plant genes andproteins. Competitive salary and excellent benefits are available.
