Position: Post-doctoral position (Ref-No. 53/2008)
Description:
We are searching for a highly motivated Postdoc with experience inimmunology and cell biology and a special focus on signal transduction.The project aims to clarify the function of CD44 as a hematopoetic,leukemic and solid tumor stem cell marker. The position (DFG) iscurrently available for 18 months with possible prolongation. Employmentat DKFZ till September 30, 2008, University Heidelberg October 31, 2009.
We are an international group, with a focus on the metastatic process.We offer an interesting environment and expect high engagement.
The position (DFG) is currently available for 18 months with possibleprolongation. An employment at DKFZ is possible till September 30th, 2008.
Profile:
The candidate should have a degree in biology or biochemistry and shouldbe experienced and particularly interested in membrane dynamics andprotein-protein interactions and the cross-talk between cancer stemcells and the cancer stern cell niche. The position is presently limiteduntil 31.12.2009 with the option of prolongation. Please providecurriculum, certificates, a statement on research interest and 2 lettersof reference.
