The German Heart Center Munich at the Technical University Munich is oneof the leading facilities in Europe dedicated to state of the artpatient care and basic research in all fields of cardiology.
At the Department of Experimental Pediatric Cardiology there is animmediate job opening for a young talented scientist (post-doc)interested to work in the field of Hypoxia Signaling and its relevancefor cardiovascular disorders and cancer.
This work is related to the characterization of novel pathways andfactors involved in the cellular response to hypoxia at the interface toinflammation, development and oxidative stress.
We are looking for an enthusiastic scientist with a PhD in biology,biochemistry, chemistry, medicine or a similar discipline with profoundknowledge in molecular biology, cell biology and biochemistry. Expertisein transgenic animals is desirable but not mandatory.
We offer a stimulating working environment with state of the artfacilities in a young enthusiastic team with great opportunities forscientific as well as professional development.
The post will be full-time and is long-term financed. The salary will beaccording to the German TV-L.
